Is that true? I'm very sure, in Indonesia this item is very popular. I don't know what's good about it. After its launch, this item sold 10 thousand+ units. The Xiaomi Poco Redmi brand sells an average of 10 thousand. Xiaomi is the cheapest online cellphone selling brand, like Poco. no one can compete with this cellphone, in terms of performance and affordable price. Sorry for my bad english writing...

Infinix and Tecno phones are slowly getting more expensive too. To be honest, I'm less impressed by Infinix's current lineup compared to Xiaomi's in 2024.
Infinix have released like 6 different versions of the Note 40 that are so similar to each other in terms of performance, cameras, and battery life, but differ considerably in value. There's just no reason to pick up the Note 40 Pro+ when the much cheaper Note 40 4G offers 95% similar hardware, and might be even better in some aspects.
Not hating on Infinix, Tecno, or Transsion as a whole. It's impressive how much they've grown over the past couple years. But the real question is whether or not they will be able to maintain their success for the coming future.

All the people saying this phone is e-waste are completely misusing the word. E-waste is a term for electronics that are thrown away, not for a phone you think isn't worth the price.
If you strongly feel that way, then don't freaking buy this phone. Corporations don't owe you a "good" phone for insanely cheap prices, they make whatever they feel like it. You as a consumer can vote with your wallets.
Also, judge something for what it is, not what it isn't or what you wish it should've been.

So Xiaomi is jumping into the "No charger in box" train, eh?
What's next? No battery? No screen? In the future, we might even have to pay a subscription to use the phone. What I don't get is this: what are all these companies doing with so much money? :O Imagine having like 100 mil. $ at your disposal... If I'm spending 20K $ / month, I should be able to live without working for the next 200 years (inflation considered). That's f...ed up, man... A lot of people can barley get from one month to the other.... There's something seriously wrong with this world. And we're arguing about phones! =D

Never buy this phone, Xiaomi should be sued for manufacturing a phone without stereo sound. Absolute poor sound quality.
If you play via car bt, it only plays in one speaker from spotify.
Also earpiece speaker is in wrong place, top left corner not central.
Auto light sensor is erractic too.
Dont buy, total crap phone

I wonder if it's just poor software or cheaper, more power-hungry OLED panels compared to what Realme uses. Like Realme GT 6 has the same chipset as Poco F6 and only 10% larger battery but it gets way better battery life.

Cortex-A75 really isn't good at all in 2024. Bare minimum is at least 4x Cortex-A76, or better yet A78. Coupled with slow eMMC and subpar battery life it's just a terrible value. Actually the poor battery life is becoming a trend with Xiaomi and their sister brands as of late. Is it down mostly to poor software optimization, or perhaps cheaper screens that are less energy-efficient?

Battery perf looks pretty bad for a phone that big and heavey and 5000mah.
I have a tablet with g99, it is ok, sometimes really annoying sluggish on bad coded sites like Amazon.
So I wouldn't go for the weaker g91 i mean.
